Involuntary loneliness is a recurring challenge in society, particularly for the elderly. It can sometimes be difficult to know what help is available, what you can do on your own, and what kind of support you, as a family member, can request from your local government.
Stunder complements elder care and helps prevent both mental and physical health issues. It also provides relief for family members who need support. Stunder operates throughout Sweden.
The people who will tell us more about this initiative are Irene Rösberg, a marketing specialist at Stunder, and Ellenor Koppari, a business development manager.
They will discuss how they work to complement home care services, how they base their work on the Social Services Act, and how they work to prevent health problems among older adults.
Some of the questions that will be answered:
- What challenges are associated with loneliness among older adults?
- What responsibilities are often placed on family members that can become problematic?
- Tips and advice on how to address involuntary loneliness.
Date and time: March 26, 12:00–1:00 p.m.
